The framework for the spheres were made as an extension project to students in the weaving workshop at El Limonar International school, allowing them to respond in groups, weaving into or through a three dimensional surface.

El Limonar students: This response is about identity. The centre represents the soul, pure and unchanging regardless of external appearance (expressed by the weavings on the surface of the sphere)
El Limonar students: This response represents ocean waste and the influence of humans on the maritime environment.
Nicky Eastaugh: This sphere is about beach life. The upper half reflects the bright colours of inflatables, swimming costumes, beach towels and shades. The lower half reflects the underwater world – murkier and more subdued, with ribbons of seaweed and waves.
This sphere represents the colour of the sky. It will be used for the audience participation project.
