The keystone of my visual language is colour. I like to use bright, bold palettes to communicate difference, contrasts in situations, moods or feelings. Colour dispersal is a tool which I use to explore metaphors for relationships, transformation and change. I also use colour to reference the local environment and make regional and symbolic associations.

My work employs a variety of techniques, and is most often based around weaving or inspired by weaving and related crafts, such as braiding, macrame and basketry.

Sculpture inspired by tumbleweed (2025) (Work in progress). Paper straws, pincho sticks, brass fasteners, dyed esparto grass, pieces of painted plastic water bottle. Sphere 150cm diameter (approx).

I like to use materials with a regional or cultural significance. For example: Esparto grass and hemp, traditionally associated with the South East Mediterranean region of Spain, and modern materials associated with tourism and hospitality.
